Surely the reason most people get into the remodeling and contracting business is they like to work with their hands and see things transform. Added to that often is a love of houses, and we are no different.
For over a decade we have been taking homes and properties that other people were repelled by, and turned them into a place you smiled at when you drive by, instead of wishing they would go away. We then took those houses, apartment buildings, duplexes, four-plexes, and matched them up to people who really needed to find a decent place to live at a fair, reasonable price.
We found veterans who had sadly fallen through the cracks, single parents fighting to make enough to feed their kids, seniors who had to decide on rent, food or medicine that month. The more we looked, the more we realized there were so many people in need. There were also so many houses in need of clean up and repair. We decided to step up and step out to help even more.
At Old Glory, we believe in fostering a diverse and equitable environment. Our collective approach keeps communities inspired to share their passion, talent, and ideas. We are dedicated to facilitating an inclusive culture as we serve society with respect and dignity.

After some thought and decisions, we decided to take Old Glory from a for-profit contracting company to a non-profit. You might ask why we would do that when we were making a decent living and doing what we loved? Well, it goes right back to our company mission statement, “Transforming Lives One House At A Time.”
We realized just how many veterans were on the street, and how many families were losing the roof over their head. We knew we had an obligation to our fellow humans to do something about it. We also knew that there were people who were not getting fair breaks on housing accessibility and costs, like those just out of prison, immigrants and refugees who might not know the ropes, and people who had suffered evictions through no fault of their own. So we started buying houses and fixing them up.
We are now in Kansas City, MO, Hattiesburg and Biloxi, MS, Las Vegas, NV, and Tacoma, WA. We plan to soon expand our low-income housing project to other parts of the country where there is need.
WORKING TOGETHER
If you have a distressed property or estate home that you would like to donate for the deduction, we would like to talk.
We are always looking for homes in need of TLC that we can remodel, rebuild, or refurbish and offer as low income, affordable housing to deserving renters. Please call us or send in our contact form. The property does not have to be in one of our immediate locations, because we know people need help nationwide.
We are a registered 501-3(c) and have been licensed contractors for many years. Help us help others. You will get a great tax incentive while helping make a huge difference for someone in need of a decent place to live at a rate they can afford.
